Ian Halperin is a renowned rock journalist and writer, who has written biographies on figures as diverse as Kurt Cobain and James Taylor. In his book Fire and Rain he has managed to accurately depict the life of one of the worlds most respected singer song writers. James Taylor recorded his first album in England in 1968 under the auspices of Paul McCartney.
