Indian Summer is a folk-rock band with a healthy dose of funk thrown in! If we sound like anyone else it's a cross between Pentangle, Fairport Convention and Level 42. We play a huge selection of traditional English, Irish, Scots and American music. We also write alot of our own material.We've been together since 1989 and are working on our 10th album.The core of the band are Annie and Jon Bamforth. Annie is the main vocalist and 12 string guitarist. Jon also does vocals and plays six-string bass. We get a pretty big sound when we go out as a duo, with 18 strings between us!When we have the full band, you also get a superb drummer and keyboard player to liven up your evening!
