Heloise Love

   

Heloise Love is a singer/guitar player and one of the founders of the popular Celtic band, Highland Way. Born and raised in California to a French Mother and a Welsh andScottish father, she grew up in a house filled with diverse music ranging from Herb Alpert and The Tiajuana brass, to bagpipes. She is a featured performer on three CDs and has just released her first solo project, ‘Song for the Mira’. She now has her own music company, Mira Music, and has played in numerous venues all over San Diego County such as The Downtown San Diego Marriott Hotel,Churchills, O’sullivans’, The Jumping Turtle, The San Diego Scottish Highland Games, (again in June 2005), San Diego Folk Alliance, and 2 years at the Sam Hinton San Diego Folk Heritage Festival. She has shared the stage with popular Celtic entertainers such as Alasdair Fraser, ‘Men of Worth’, ‘Wicked Tinkers’, and Alex Beaton. Her ever growing repertoire includes haunting Celtic ballads and lively Irish,Scottish, and American folk music.
