Billy Bragg England half English isn't as bad as a lot of the reviews on amazon.co.uk would have you believe. OK its not a 'Workers Playtime' ora 'William Bloke, but it's still a good album. I thinks Braggy should be applauded for not just farming out the same old thing year after year. Its good to hear other influences brought to bare, like world music, folk and even ska on Dread Belly. Take down the Union Jack, Distant Shore and Some Days I See the point could grace any Billy Bragg album.

Braggy for me is one man, a guitar and intelligent lyrics. All delivered with passion, conviction and a good slab of humour and joviality - time to sack the blokes. What they bring to the table isn't needed they get in the way if anything. I'm all for Socialism but not in the studio, if the Blokes are going to stay they should remember their place.
